GRAMMY CONSIDERATION

FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION

I have something to share with you all and I am still processing it myself.

My remix with Ntwana R of Deep in the Bottom (of Africa) by Monique Bingham & Black Coffee, has officially been submitted to the Recording Academy for consideration in the Best Remixed Recording category at the GRAMMYs.

Pop & Dance/Electronic. Best Remixed Recording. The GRAMMYs.

I need you to understand what Deep in the Bottom (of Africa) means in the world of house music. This is not just any record. Black Coffee and Monique Bingham made something that has lived in DJ sets and hearts for years. When the opportunity came to put my touch on it, alongside Ntwana R, I approached it with everything I had. It had to be worthy of the original. I hope we did it justice.

To see it submitted for Grammy consideration is something I genuinely did not have words for when I found out. South African sound, submitted to the most prestigious recording body in the world. That belongs to all of us.

Big love to KLTR Music and every single person who poured themselves into making this one special. You know who you are.
